V8 Scania Trucks/Camion Old School - Exhaust Sound, Open Pipes & Smoke! - 143M, 142H, 141 series

In this short video, I wanted to round up some historic Scania V8 Trucks/ Camion old school, or YoungTimers, that I've had the pleasure of seeing in recent years at gatherings. We are talking about three legendary models of the Swedish brand, the 143M, the 142H, and the 141, all powered by the magnificent V8 engine, the undisputed symbol of this brand. It should be noted that at the end of the 70s the 14.2-litre engine had 375hp, an enormous power for that period and in 1983, with the advent of the 142H and the new cabin designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, a variant equipped with an intercooler was introduced able to reach 420hp. In that period it became the most powerful line vehicle produced in Europe. A tall pillar of the Swedish house was the 143M used from the late 1980s and early 1990s. In its maximum splendour the V8 engine that equipped it reached the power of 500hp combined with a 16-speed gearbox. It's remembered by many drivers as an excellent vehicle for its reliability and comfort. Enjoy! 😉 In questo breve filmato ho voluto radunare alcuni storici Scania V8 Trucks/Camion vecchia scuola, o se vogliamo YoungTimers che ho avuto il piacere di vedere negli ultimi anni ai raduni. Stiamo parlando di tre modelli mitici della casa Svedese, il 143M, il142H, ed il141, tutti motorizzati con il magnifico motore V8, simbolo indiscusso di questo marchio. Da notare che già a fine anni 70 il propulsore da 14,2 litri disponeva di 375cv, una potenza enorme per quel periodo e nel 1983, con l'avvento della nuova cabina disegnata da Giorgetto Giugiaro viene introdotta una variante dotata di intercooler e la potenza arriva a 420cv. In quel periodo diventa il piu' potente veicolo di linea prodotto in Europa. Un'alto pilastro della casa Svedese è stato il 143M utilizzato dalla fine degli anni '80 e nei primi anni '90. Nel suo massimo splendore il motore V8 che lo equipaggiava ha raggiunto la potenza di 500cv abbinato ad un cambio a 16 marce. Da molti viene ricordato come un'ottimo mezzo per la sua affidabilità e comodità.
