He decided to include "Modinha" by Villa Lobos (Seresta n° 5) on the album and rehearsed it first with Paulinha Morelenbaum. When it sounded beautiful, he decided that Danilo Caymmi would sing it. He left the musical direction and orchestral arrangements to Jaques Morelenbaum and Paulinho Jobim. Jairo Severiano was in charge of production and the "girls" sang beautifully. Rehearsals and recordings always had a festive atmosphere, which Tom created simply by being there. The only thing that interrupted his smile or his broad gestures was the news that Maria Luiza, who had just been born, sneezed. After the album was finished, many people heard Tom say that it was his favorite work. But with only one edition, not available for sale, very few people were able to enjoy it - something that was initially fixed in 1995. It's great that now access to it is wider, thanks to the partnership between Jobim Music and Biscoito Fino - a young record label that has already established itself through the exceptional quality of its releases."
