Instead of trying to combo off Rendmaw does something completely different: it hands out goaded Bird tokens to every player and turns the entire game into a forced-combat battlefield. Every multi-type card we play creates more flying attackers that can’t even swing at us, slowly pushing opponents into fighting each other while we sit back and build value. This deck leans heavily into multi-type cards: artifact creatures, enchantment creatures, and other niche pieces that normally don’t see much play. Turning what looks like a deckbuilding restriction into one of the most explosive engines in the command zone. The Birds aren’t just chaos either; we use them for mana, sacrifice synergies, drain effects, and multiple unique win paths that slowly grind the table down. Rendmaw isn’t about turn-three blowouts or flashy infinite combos. It’s about pressure, inevitability, and creating some of the funniest board states you’ll ever see in Commander.
