Developing Faith in Our Own Potential

Empowerments are our most special events at KMC NYC and everyone is welcome to attend. Even if you're new to Buddhist meditation, you're invited. During an empowerment we are taken on an extraordinary inner journey with Kadam Morten as our guide. He leads us in a sequence of blissful meditations through which we connect to a Buddha's mind and envision receiving their blessings. This experience is immensely purifying and functions to awaken our Buddha nature. In this way, we create the causes to eventually become an enlightened being, a Buddha ourself. We don't need to be advanced practitioners to receive these wonderful benefits during an empowerment. The most important thing is that we have some faith in our own potential for real growth, and finally enlightenment.
