In one of the earliest episodes of The Medical Explorer with Dr. Robert Peppercorn in 1983, viewers met the Medical Director, Dr. Chuck Johnson. (This video has some old VHS tape video artifact.) Dr. Johnson discussed some of their many programs that help residents of the Marysville and Yuba County areas. In Part 2, Dr. Johnson and Public Health Nurse, Lee Mason, PHN, RN, met with Dr. Peppercorn in the studio to discuss their work. Today, they are called the Yuba County Health and Human Services Department.
