Trained in Carnatic vocal and violin, PRI veers away from typical themes of love explored in Indian film songs and explores the human condition, all against a backdrop of Indian classical music. Like many bored individuals stuck at home during the pandemic, PRI began her content creation journey on TikTok in July 2020. Her engaging videos, where she sang film song covers, added Carnatic touches to popular songs and taught Carnatic music theory, quickly built a vibrant community of music enthusiasts. With unwavering support from her audience, PRI released her first single, , amassing over 100,000 streams in just two months and securing a spot on the "Radar Tamil" playlist.
