Berimbaudos Live – Estúdio Schwedenstrasse Living in Berlin can be intense. During the colder months, the city pulls you inward — and the studio becomes the place where things really move. This live set was developed during that time. Recorded in Schwedenstrasse, in a friend’s studio where I once lived, it’s a 20-minute journey built around three original pieces (working titles): Lila Jungle Tame In this set, I play berimbau, saxophone and voice, while manipulating loops, textures and synths live through Ableton Push. Some elements are prepared, others are shaped in the moment — it’s a compositional structure with plenty of space for exploration, instinct and improvisation. Jazz and improvisation are strong influences here, but each piece carries its own spirit. Lila opens the set with a more elegant, airy and jazzy atmosphere. Jungle goes deeper, more grounded and tribal. Tame closes the journey with a higher tempo, expanding into different rhythmic and sonic universes. This is not just a performance — it’s a passage. One continuous flow, inviting the listener to move through different states and textures. I’d love to take this set further — into festivals, shared spaces and live encounters.
