As part of Spec Services, the Spec Tech Division was established to manage highly technical, hazardous, and complex projects requiring precision, control, and specialised expertise. In this project, our team was engaged to remediate a mould contamination issue at a local public school in the ACT, where air quality had reached unsatisfactory levels. To safely isolate the affected area, we constructed a custom "Build Signature" 60 melamine hoarding system, creating a fully sealed containment zone that prevented cross-contamination throughout the facility. Our trained technicians employed advanced mould remediation techniques, including HEPA vacuuming, controlled chemical treatment, air filtration, and decontamination, to remove spores and restore safe indoor air quality. Throughout the process, all work was carried out under strict safety and environmental protocols, ensuring the protection of staff, students, and the surrounding school environment. The project was successfully completed, delivering a clean, safe, and fully remediated learning space — a testament to Spec Tech’s commitment to safety, technical excellence, and reliable outcomes in hazardous environments.
