In December 2023, Sydney Markets Foundation was given the opportunity to participate in the Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) Christmas Giving Day at Randwick. “What a fantastic feeling to be representing the Sydney Markets Foundation and handing over our proceeds from the Cherry Auction,” said Sydney Markets Limited CEO Brad Latham. “Narinder Singh was the successful bidder of the cherries - $50,000, and the generous donation by the Sydney (Markets) Credit Services as well culminated in the $70,000 donation - and it’s so good to be here today to hand it over.” Sydney Markets Limited CEO Brad Latham and Acting Chairman Mario Messina, and QE Foodstores CEO Narinder Singh presented a $70,000 cheque to Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation. Along with a generous supply of fresh fruits for the day’s fundraising activities. Among those also present were Sue Zacherl from Freshmark, Colin Allen General Manager Philanthropy at Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation, and SCHF Ambassador Emeritus Professor Leslie White AM.
