Mom has meltdown after kids are put on LOCKDOWN the FIRST Day of School

This day started out in the most awesome way. Happy kids that couldn't sleep because they were so excited for their first day of school! New outfits, shoes, backpacks, and lunch boxes. First day of school pictures. Reciting and talking about our family's new motto for the school year. And a lot of smiles, laughs, and hugs! Unfortunately, the afternoon took a turn when Kenzie received a text that the boys' school was on lock down. We weren't given any other information and Kenzie experienced fear like she never has before. It took her quite some time to recover from her panic even after she knew everyone was safe. We are so grateful that no one was in danger and that our school acted so quickly to ensure safety for everyone. She pulled herself together though, put on a brave face for her babies, and enjoyed the rest of the day with them! Dakota and Carson had so much fun!! They had a lot of questions about the confusion and chaos of the lock down, but those feelings were quickly overshadowed by all of the great parts of the day! Thank you so much for watching!
