A custom-built 1S nano long range drone powered by DJI O4 just completed an intercontinental flight — from island to island over the sea! 🌊 This was my personal maximum distance record, and it has officially been broken. I’m planning to add another 2 kilometers in the future to see how far this tiny beast can really go. Guys, in response to your questions, here’s a short description of the build. It’s a Crux-3 frame, Happy Model 12025 11500KV motors, BetaFPV Matrix AIO with a 5V regulator, plus a Betian BE122 GPS, a canopy from Meteor75HD, and the smallest ExpressLRS 2.4GHz receiver with the antenna mounted on the arm. Additionally, DJI O4 with a Flywoo Wide Angle Lens. And a battery from my Chinese friends from the most famous shop: 21700 Li-Ion, 4500mAh, with a soldered BT2.0 connector. Plus a rubber band fram panties to hold the battery😉.
