A call went out for help that a guinea pig had been spotted opposite a cafe in a busy inner city suburb. It was hiding under branches that had come down on a path and sadly the people that noticed it could not capture it. It could have run onto the busy street or been preyed upon at anytime. No food and no water around it and with searing temperatures about to arrive, it would not survive. Cavy Central had a number of Vollies that were able to help and with their amazing help the little piggie was caught on a day where temperatures exceeded 40 degrees. It was hard work for everyone and a great deal of effort, but for this little piggie, it has a new chance to be loved and remain safe.
