The crew of Hoppy Trails is off on our next big adventure - America's Great Loop! As a family of three (plus our lovable Goldendoodle), we're exploring the incredible waterways, small towns, and stunning landscapes that make up this iconic 6,000+ mile journey. Hoppy Trails is a 2019 Ranger Tugs R31CB. At 35' LOA, she is comfortable and capable - easily maneuvered with the help of bow and stern thrusters - and powered by an efficient single diesel engine. We began the Great Loop from St. Paul, Minnesota in September of 2023 and have been taking plenty of video along the way. In coming videos, we'll take you along as we navigate through picturesque rivers, bustling cities, and peaceful anchorages. Along the way, we'll share the challenges, triumphs, and memorable moments that come with living aboard and cruising on this amazing adventure.
