Dundas Subdivision – Mile 30.9 Paris Junction Train 1 VIA East Bound - 14:29 pm VIA 6401 EMD F40PH-3 VIA 900 GE P42DC Train 2 VIA West Bound - 14:29 pm ish VIA 919 GE P42DC VIA 6413 EMD F40PH-2 Train 3 CN West Bound - 16:58 pm CN 8922 EMD SD70M-2 CN 2269 GE ES44DC After departing from our morning watch at Dundas Sub mile 28 we have moved 2 miles west to the beautiful town of Paris, Ontario. We filmed two VIA passenger trains – one eastward and the second westward. The day’s best catch was the CN manifest that treated us to really awesome full power audio for the entire time that it was in range of the camera. We often hear this sort of prime mover roar when visiting the Halton Sub, but not so often here. The power was one EMD and one GE. I’ll go out on a limb and credit the SD70M-2 for the beautiful sound. Near the end of the film we did a yard flyover to see what is in storage there.
