Summer Break is Over - What's Up Next?

Summer break is over and we're heading back to school or work - both in my case. Here's an update to let you know I'm back. First up, my big summer project: I rebuilt my deck! Back in early June, tired of the creaking beneath my feet, I began pulling up the old rotting boards with no clear plan in mind. 90 days later, we've delivered more than the MVP. I used agile principles to build my new 'happy place', so let me know if you want a longer video (I could do a whole series) on the topic. The other activity that pulled me away from my regular teaching schedule (and a brief roadtrip) was getting my A.I. for Scrum Masters class ready to go. The hundreds of pages, dozens of AI tools, and a robust Mural board are the background I'm using for this new 4-hour microcredential from Scrum Alliance... And now, as of September, I'll be sharing the class with small, select groups of people who've been to my A-CSM classes. I'll make the classes public later in the year ;) September is indeed a busy month. This week is the Agile Open SoCal 2025 (our 16th year?) I'll be facilitating again, and I look forward to re-connecting with old friends -- and discovering new ones. We do it in-person and on-site every September, so if you're close to Orange County (University of Irvine campus), make plans to attend this one-in-a-million event. I'm also bringing back the MEET-UPS. If I'm being honest, I need help with consistency here, so I usually put it off. But for the next few months I have a buddy helping out...
