Pregnant reporter rebuts Darshan Jariwala's claim of being unfit for parenthood

A pregnant journalist responds to Darshan Jariwala's claim of being medically unfit to father a child. In December 2023, allegations surfaced from a journalist in Kolkata, accusing Darshan Jariwala of raping her and impregnating her under false pretenses of marriage. An FIR has been filed against the actor at a Kolkata police station, charging him under Sections 376 (rape), 377 (carnal intercourse), and 417 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code. Following his resignation from CINTAA, Jariwala vehemently denied all allegations and threatened legal action by filing a defamation suit against the journalist. Jariwala's lawyer dismissed the pregnancy accusation, asserting that his client is medically incapable of fatherhood. Sachar informed a news portal that Darshan has a medical condition preventing him from fathering children. She noted that his partner is struggling to conceive, despite their efforts, due to the same medical issue.
