National Library of Indonesia is famous of its high-rise building that located at Medan Merdeka street. Apart of that, there's also an old building that located at Salemba, which has some elevators that also interesting. All of them are using Mitsubishi, both direct mod (ELEMOTION) and totally new model. There are two different types of Mitsubishi elevators in this place. It has different cab style, and inner indicator that indicates the change year/period. Elevators at Block D and the first elevator of Block B-C are modernized from older Mitsubishi since it's still retaining its old panel angle. While the second elevator of Block B-C is replaced from Mitsubishi GPS-III (that probably an additional install). However, there's a possibility for the said elevator to be directly modded as it's could be possible to change the panel's angle after the modernization (from skewed to straight). For elevator at Block A, it's unknown whether it's directly modernized from older Mitsubishi or used to be the same model as the Block B-C one. Even though it's already modernized, the ride quality is slight worse especially on the Elevator 2 of Block B-C. There's also a vintage book dumbwaiter that located inside the reading place. The dumbwaiter is used for bringing books from and to the reading place on the 7th floor. Sadly, the brand can't be identified as there's no clues yet. The only known video for the old elevators in this place was taken by JC 95.
