Thomas McNickle discusses his process and life as an artist for the opening weekend of his exhibition 'The Best of Four Seasons' at Jerald Melberg Gallery. The four seasons have long inspired artists to reflect on the passage of time, the moods of nature, and the shifting play of color and light. The Pennsylvania native draws inspiration from the rural landscape and his Amish neighbors, whose quiet rhythms mirror the cycles of nature. In these paintings, McNickle captures the renewal of spring, the vitality of summer, the golden transformation of fall, and the contemplative calm of winter, revealing his enduring connection to the land around him. Thomas McNickle's exceptional technical ability has been evident since he first began painting in his teens. His work has been exhibited in over one hundred museum and gallery exhibitions and can be found in numerous collections including Butler Institute of American Art, Hoyt Art Center, Vero Beach Museum of Art, Kansas State University, Gibbes Museum of Art, The Mint Museum, and Morris Museum of Art.
