This neighborhood leads to Basij Highway from the west, to Valfajr town from the south, to Shahid Rahimi Street (46th Street) from the north, to Firoozeh Palace and Mountain from the east, and to Afsaria and Masoudiyeh intersections from the southeast. The naming of this neighborhood is based on the name of the original owner of these lands, "Officer of the Kings". For many years, this person handed over his lands in Afsaria area in 120 square meter plots to the applicants. Afsariyeh Highway is the name of an old intersection in Tehran, adjacent to Afsariyeh neighborhood. This intersection was important for being in the path of most Tehran passengers who intend to leave Tehran to the east and also as the entrance gate of Tehran. This highway branched off to the Tehran-Mashhad road on one side, to the Basij highway on the other side, and to the Besat Highway on the other side. In other words, the three main highways of Tehran (Afsaria, Besat and Tehran-Mashhad highways) were connected at this point. After the launch of the Azadegan Highway and the renaming of the Afsaria Highway to Basij, the Basij Bridge replaced this highway, but it is still commonly known as the Afsaria Highway.
