As negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 group over Iran’s nuclear programme entered its final stages in 2015, important questions loom over the impact of any such potential deal on the Iranian economy and its implications for the global oil and gas markets, where Iran is a big player accounting for the world’s fourth largest reserves of crude oil and the second largest for gas. To address these and other topical issues, the International Iranian Economic Association (IIEA) hosted two presentations at Trinity College, University of Cambridge followed by a Q&A session on Thursday 18th of June 2015.
