[Notes:wide shot of Snowden and pic of garrison] Police in Beverly Hills say actor Lane Garrison should be charged with a felony in a SINGLE car crash that killed a teen last December. [Notes:SOT] (SOT: David Snowden, Chief, Beverly Hills Police) "our traffic investigators presented this collision report involving actor Lane Garrison to the Los Angeles County District attorney's office and recommended the following charges - gross vehicular manslaughter with an enhancement of causing bodily injury or death to more than one victim." [Notes:wide shot of Snowden] Snowden also told reporters Wednesday that Garrison was under the influence of alcohol and drugs when his S-U-V struck a tree. [Notes:SOT] (SOT: David Snowden, Chief, Beverly Hills Police) "the investigation revealed that Mr. Garrision's blood level alcohol was more than twice the legal limit. In addition to driving under the influence of alcohol he was also under the influence of cocaine at the time of this deadly collision." [Notes:pic of garrison] The crash left one passenger -- a 17-year-old Beverly Hills High School student dead -- and injured two 15-year-old passengers . They were reportedly leaving a party together and police say Garrison should also be charged to contributing to the deliquency of a minor. The 26-year-old Garrison plays a character on the Fox TV drama series "Prison Break." An attorney for Garrison has said the actor doesn't remember anything about the accident after waking up in a hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. The case is now under review by the Los Angeles County District Attorney. If convicted on the charges, Garrison faces up to 10 years in prison.
