2021 Kitemakers Conference - Frank Sazama - The MegaVented Kite Building

THIS WAS RECORDED ON MARCH 20th, 2021 AS A PART OF A KITEMAKERS CONFERENCE PUT ON BY FORTUNA FOUND AND U-MAKE. In this session Frank Sazama details how he took a bit of local architecture as inspiration for his new kite design. Frank Sazama started kite building 2016 and this was also the start of his #elphikites (www.elphi-kites.de - contact via Facebook or Instagram is also possible). All kite designs and the name are inspired by the unique concert hall in Hamburg (Germany) - Elbphilharmonie - one of the landmarks of this beautiful city. Until that time more than 75 quad-line kites are build and experience and variants grew over time. For this conference/workshop, Frank decided to show how he is designing and building a MegaVented quad-line kite, based on the one that took part of the auction kitesfightingcancer.com in February 2021.
