So to properly give a review for this demo, i thought the story presentation was ripped right out of an anime. And I will say I was actually interested in playing out more of that. I was interested in the world and the overall conflict. But then I realized that this going to be a PVP game with a battle pass and all the workings of a mobile game. And that definitely lost a lot of my interest. In the tutorial missions there’s a big push on the world story and for a moment you think this could be a single player game, but then it sets in that this is all superficial to set the tone for all the multiplayer missions. You know, you look at some thing like Overwatch or Marvel Rivals. The story to those doesn’t matter at all. Like some people care, sure, but there really isn’t much story to go on when every multiplayer game is just characters killing each other. Mecha Break has a lot happening on screen. Which makes it very hard for someone like me to keep track of what I’m doing. When playing the pvp, it felt like my bullets weren’t doing any damage.
