This audit takes place along the public sidewalk outside some of the businesses along the beach . The first location was an open air restaurant with the interior of the establishment clearly visible from where I was standing. I was admiring some of the décor inside, when one of the restaurant employees came out to where I was standing to inform me that some of the patrons dining were feeling uncomfortable because of my camera, I explained to her that the establishment was in plain view of the public & she seemed to agree with me but on the flip side she was hoping that I would turn my cameras off. The next location I came upon was a different reaction. One individual was curious in asking if I had any subscribers...at the time of editing my footage I was just approaching 28k & as of publishing First Amendment Rights is now over 28,250. The 3rd establishment was a glass bong /hookah shop when soon after I began documenting, the shop merchant came out for the first time curious to what I was recording for, he then returned inside with what seemed to be no issue...He soon returned once again asking me to stop because he was beginning to feel stressed out & I explained to him I wasn't focusing my documenting on him specifically, I then mentioned to him that if he felt inclined to turn off the security camera above the front door, I would gladly turn off my cameras, he returned inside once again not before saying he was going to call for police. A short time later he retuned for a 3rd time with his device in hand & informed me that his boss (the store owner) wanted to talk to me. We had a conversation on speaker phone as I explained to him that I meant no harm & was just there to document freely in public. #FIrstAmendmentAudit #1AAudit #PublicPhotography #SouthernCalifornia
