After years of anticipation, the A321XLR has finally entered service. Now, you might’ve heard Airbus call this plane a “Game Changer”. But if we’re being honest with ourselves, Boeing, Airbus, and Embraer say that about pretty much all of their new jets. Of course they’re gonna talk them up because they want to sell them. Now I’m actually on board one of the very first XLR revenue flights right now. And while this is a beautiful looking airplane, it also looks a whole lot like a normal A320. Taken at surface level, it seems the XLR isn’t quite as transformative as Airbus claims.
