This means that if you transfer Rs. 2,000 or more from your wallet to UPI, will be charged Rs. 22 as a fee on the Bank or QR Company Like Paytm, Gpay, Phonepe, etc. No Charges on Customer Or Merchant. This charge is being introduced by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to promote digital payments and reduce the use of cash. It is important to note that this charge will only be applicable on transactions where money is transferred from a wallet ( PPI) to UPI, and not on transactions where money is transferred directly from a bank account to UPI.
