South West Coast Path | Episode 3 | Teil 1 | Newquay - Elm Farm Campsite

Nach 2018 und 2019 wandere ich zum dritten Mal auf dem #SouthWestCoatPath. Der South West Coast Path ist mit 1.008 km der längste National Trail Großbritanniens. Im ersten Teil wandere ich von #Newquay in zwei Tagen zum Elm Farm Campsite nahe Nancekuke. Nach meiner Ankunft um Surferparadies Newquay, welches ich schon 2018 und 2019 besucht habe, verbringe ich vor dem Start meiner Wanderung noch einen ruhigen Tag am Strand. Am nächsten Tag starte ich bei bewölktem Himmel am Ortsausgang von Newquay. Vorbei an paradiesischen Ständen und wilden Cliffs zeigt mir der #SWCP schon am ersten Tag alles, weshalb ich ihn so liebe. Ich übernachte auf einem Campingplatz in #Perranporth, auf dem an diesem Tag erstaunlich wenig los ist. Am zweiten Tag wandere ich an den Spuren des Bergbaus vorbei - mit dem Höhepunkt #WhealCoatesMine. Schon am zweiten Tag unterscheidet sich die Landschaft deutlich zum Vortag. Wild ist die Küste hier - und recht windig! Nach einem anstrengenden Tag erreiche ich den abgelegenen Elm Farm Campingplatz. Ziemlich spartanisch ist dieser ausgestattet. Aber das macht mir nicht viel aus - müde wie ich bin! The South West Coast Path is Britain's longest National Trail at 1,008 km. In the first part I walk from Newquay to Elm Farm Campsite near Nancekuke in two days. After my arrival at the surfer's paradise Newquay, which I have already visited in 2018 and 2019, I spend a nice day on the beach before starting my hike. The next day I start on the outskirts of Newquay under a cloudy sky. Passing paradisiacal bays and wild cliffs, the #SWCP shows me everything on the first day that makes me love it so much. I'm staying at a campsite in Perranporth, which is surprisingly quiet that day. On the second day I walk past the traces of mining - with the highlight being #WhealCoatesMine. Already on the second day, the landscape differs significantly from the day before. The coast here is wild - and quite windy! After a busy day, I arrive at the remote Elm Farm campsite.
