In this video, JoAnn goes over how to cut vinyl without a mat using the Cricut. A lot of people think that you have to use a mat when cutting with the Cricut. This is actually not true! You don’t need a mat. You need to make sure your vinyl is lined up correctly under the rollers and it’s set on the vinyl setting and it will work great. You will lose about 2 inches toward the top of your vinyl where the machine thinks your mat is, so make sure to take that into account when setting up your design in Cricut Design space.
