Hi everyone! This video is something new that I have wanted to try for some time. Normally, I post pattern tutorials and zentangle illustrations separately. However, my own art style consists of mixing the two together. Every time I am drawing a Zentangle pattern, I like to think of ways I can turn it into a story. So, this is what I am doing here. I chose 6 botanical zentangle patterns inspired from different leafy shapes, and then tried to imagine what kind of stories they could convey through turning them into cute easy illustration. Granted the illustrations are not as complex and the stories behind them are not as developed, but this exercise can open the possibility of the different thing you can do with Zentangles. It is a very therapeutic art exercise, but at the same time, you can use it for self-expression. And telling stories through it is one way to do that. I hope this tutorial will be useful to you in your Zentangle art journey, and that these patterns will help you enrich your art. . . I also create many digital art products that I upload on my Etsy shop, so make sure to check it to see what I have in store: https://www.etsy.com/shop/NusPrintabl... If there is something you would like to see in the shop and is not available, I would appreciate it if you could let me know in the comments. . .
