Political Awareness Drive: Kwara NACLFON Mobilizes Christians for Political Involvement & Voter Reg.

As part of efforts to sensitize Christians across Nigeria on active political participation, the National APC Christian Leaders Forum of Nigeria, NACLFON, Kwara State Chapter, has called on Christians to show interest in politics and mobilize support for the All Progressives Congress, APC, ahead of the 2027 general elections. The Forum also emphasized the importance of obtaining the Permanent Voter’s Card as a vital tool in choosing credible leaders at the polls.The charge was given during the maiden 2025 NACLFON Kwara Prayer Summit, held in Ilorin the Kwara State capital, where prayers were offered for the peace and progress of Nigeria, its citizens, and for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other leaders to succeed in governance. Speaking at the event, the Kwara State Coordinator of NACLFON, Bishop David Omorinoye, the National Coordinator, Professor Olanrewaju Abraham (represented by Otunba Kenny Adedayo), and the APC State Chairman, Pastor Sunday Fagbemi, all emphasized the need for Christians to take active part in the political process, stressing that “politics is not a sin.”
