Then take a cable car to Seceda (spend 2nd half of day here). You can buy a daily cable car pass to access both places.⁣ ⁣ DAY 3:⁣ 🚗 Drive 30 mins to Val di Funes. Visit San Giovanni Church first, then do the Geiser Alm hike – allow 5 hours, 3 hour hike + 2 hours for lunch at the Rufigio (mountain hut). End the day watching sunset at Santa Maddalena Church. ⁣ ⁣ DAY 4:⁣ 🧖‍♀️ Spa day! Time to relax with a spa session and swim at your hotel – check out my free Dolomites guide for all my hotel recommendations. Then, drive 2 hours east and base yourself in Cortina d'Ampezzo for the rest of this trip or you can even stay at on hotel on Lago di Braies, the most beautiful lake in Italy.⁣ ⁣ DAY 5: ⁣ ⛵️ Rent a wooden boat at Lago di Braies and don’t skip the 1 hour walk around the lake where you can find adorable cows chilling by the shore.⁣ ⁣ DAY 6:⁣ 🥾 Combine two popular hikes in one day - start with Cadini di Misurina (1.5 hour out & back hike) in the morning and if you’re up for the challenge, add on the Tre Cime di Lavaredo 11km loop (4-5 hours).⁣ ⁣ DAY 7:⁣ 🚗 Drive 2 hours back to Venice.
