Review of ThinkTank Airport Commuter Camera Backpack

Face it, we all struggle with finding the right way to carry our gear. A hard shell or a soft shell? Foam or Velcro adaptability? Drop protection and weight or light but less security? And can we take it on a plane these days? After using the Think Tank Airport Commuter for about 6 weeks I am thoroughly impressed. Despite what I’ve done to it the bag has held its shape well. It can carry my camera body, 5 lenses, accessories like filters, batters, remotes, a tripod, speedlights… well, just about everything I have, including a 15 inch laptop. And it keeps everything safe, padded, secure and ready to use. The exterior pockets make sense, the zippers are large and strong, and the straps make me feel secure with my 30 pounds of gear since a full backpack rigging system increases comfort. And it easily fits in most overhead compartments. Since I’ve gotten it I’ve taken it everywhere and loved every minute.
