Have a nice day! ____________________________ POEM: I am from hairbrushes and hair ties From sketchbooks and sharpened pencils I am from the big backyard where my friends and I played The savory smell of home-cooked meals I am from the Sunday palms we made into shapes The potted Ivy-plant whose long gone limbs I remember as if they were my own I'm from saying Grace before meals And dark hair and brown eyes From Mom, Dad, Joana, and Ysa I'm from karaoke nights And Pacquiao fights And from everything in between I'm from "Stranger danger," And "Eat your vegetables," And "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" I'm from pancit at parties, I'm from the Philippines and Spain and the United States of America And beef stew and pan de sal From having a stuffed unicorn named Pony, To being with the Fab 4, And apple picking with all my family friends, These are all in my heart. ♡ ____________________________ MUSIC:    • Happy Piano Music   ORIGINAL POEM: bit.ly/1hMVOdG ____________________________
