Not only does our current healthcare system create barriers for research and innovation, but there is a lack of practical knowledge on how to advance innovative ideas to real-world solutions. Innovation Nexus is changing that. Innovation Nexus will launch in 2023 with two key events. On Thursday, April 27, 2023, we will bring together the “who’s who” in medical discovery and advancement – from ground-breaking inventors and established industry players, to early start ups – to discuss the next generation of discovery and how to be a part of it. The leading investment firms, venture capitalists and angel investors lend their voice and expertise to create the ideal environment to deliver on our mission to ignite the discovery process. At the showcase, ten incredibly promising start-ups pitch their inventions. These ten companies compete in a highly selective process to have the chance to pitch at this event. And in our unique “reverse pitch” format, the business development executives from established players in urology share what they are looking to invest in and partner on. This day is a powerful forum for building the connections needed to move ground-breaking urological innovations from ideation to implementation. In the fall of 2023 we will be holding a boot camp. This is a more intimate event, bringing together startups with seasoned professionals and influencers.
