Hey everyone, Like many others, I am a huge believer in studying tape and fights. I personally watch probably 70/80% of matches and 20/30% of instructionals. This is a classic matchup between two Bjj legends, Leandro Lo and Lucas Lepri. Some key points: Lucas uses DLR to go for sit up sweeps. He is successful with one, which he turns into a single leg. He never stops moving as soon as he comes up, and rotates Leandro over for the finish. Leandro instantly loads Lucas over him and does a modified double ankle/single leg x sweep. As soon as he comes up, he stuffs Lucas's leg so that he doesn't get countered with the same move. Leandro actively posts with one arm and his back leg to avoid sweeps.
