This is a series of collision issues I've found in the Definitive Edition of San Andreas. Everything in this video was done on an Xbox Series X with the game's latest version (1.04). Given how much of a shitshow the DEs have been, I highly doubt any of this will get fixed. Most of the rocks in the desert have wonky collision detection, allowing you to walk through them or stand on the air. The ground under some rocks isn't solid, so CJ can fall out of bounds and respawn within the general vicinity. Due to this, there are at least 3 different rocks you can use to re-enter the interior of Area 69. There may actually be more. Part of the garage in the factory in Red County isn't solid and thus can be walked through. The creek near Back O' Beyond has the water graphics placed too low near one of the rocks, while the collision was left unchanged from the original version. This makes it look like CJ is swimming in midair. I first noticed this while playing version 1.03. There's a section of the cliff near the Sobell Rail Yards in Las Venturas that has no collision, allowing you to clip through the map and enter Blue Hell. You can take a jetpack here and explore under the state. While there are several ways to fly under the map, I was unable to find any documentation of this specific method. *** This glitch is actually present in the PS2 version as well since the wall isn't solid there either! I discovered it while testing out everything above to make sure the original didn't have these issues. 0:00 up to 8:50 showcases the collision problems. The rest of the video is just me exploring Blue Hell.
