Starting the day off a bit late with a lunch at China Poblano @ Cosmo where the marriage of Mexican 🌮 and Asian 🥟food meld flawlessly The temperature has definitely continued to rise peaking in the high 40’s (celsius) 🔥 A short session of 2/3 holdem that did not go as planned as a result of pretty much 1 hand 😒 Before dinner commenced I seized the opportunity to interview Pokerbet CEO, South African poker legend, Darren Kramer who gave tremendous insight into this year’s Vegas trip as well as the transformation of the WSOP over the years A lavish team dinner at Mon Ami Gabi French steakhouse @ Paris 🥩 Off to the Wynn for my first (only) show in Vegas- Awakening. It did not disappoint and left me utterly speechless with artistry and performances unlike anything I have ever seen 🎪 The team came back to Paris to rail one of our own South Africans 🇿🇦 on the feature table of the Main Event sitting alongside Maria Ho One of the highlights of my life occurred getting to interview the one and only Tom ‘Durrrr’ Dwan. Some of the first poker I ever watched was seeing this young kid on High Stakes Poker, pulling off obscene bluffs and running over a table of sharks at nosebleed stakes!
