The engine has undergone a huge overhaul from the rods out episode at good Fryday burnouts earlier in the year. Essentialy its the same engine as before 598ci bbc with the only difference being a lifter upgrade this time round. The block and heads were salvageable and that was about it. New callies crank, new oliver max rods with the rod bolt upgrade, JE Pistons W wrist pin upgrade, nitrous rings and gapped for 500hp, new billet oil pump, new camshaft, new lifters which were also upgraded to .904 size bushed style, one head needed some repair work in the combustion chamber and 11 valves were replaced, some of the jesel belt drive gear was damaged from the engine lockup and 3 bent pushrods. So a huge amount of damage was done, I need an oil light that punches me when it comes on haha. I found one of the oil leaks on this engine which was the oil accumulator hose which had pushed out of a fitting but there was also a leak on the other side of engine from either rocker cover gasket or intake manifold as there was oil everywhere. But its all good as new now and I will definitely be checking the oil level more often especially when going onto a burnout pad, so just a few small things to do now and she's ready for SUMMERNATS Burnout Masters #BRE #MCFRY
