Providing housing for the elderly is not an easy task. Incomes are often limited. Health issues increase with age, and health care becomes an increasingly necessary requirement. Elise Selinger tells us about the work of 2Life, a non-profit based in the Boston area, that is providing senior housing. The new campus they are constructing in Newton, MA will provide housing for elderly across income ranges. It will include a Continuing Care Retirement Community, called Opus Newton, which addresses the "middle market," those who neither qualify for economic support nor have huge amounts of resources to spend on their housing.
