Morgan, like many of us, was isolated at home and unable to work. They were the first band to achieve this showbiz feat (now, rock stars like Bruce Springsteen are all over Broadway. Even The Who's "Tommy" didn't make it there till 1993. And yet the pioneering Mott show almost never gets mentioned these days). This song was one of the highlights of the shows at the Uris, with Morgan's Bach intro accompanied by a large pink flamingo marionette. In the background of this video are clips from "Mott in America" the "road movie" Morgan shot on an 8mm film camera during that very week.
