The Story of Street Art, Passion, and Claude Monet's Legacy in Zaandam Description: In Zaandam, a unique artistic collaboration is unfolding. "Walls that Connect Not Divide" is a documentary film that captures the inspiring journey of Piotr, a graffiti artist, and Maciej, an amateur filmmaker and drone pilot, brought together by their mutual love for the Street Art. In 1871, Claude Monet visited Zaandam and left behind 25 magnificent paintings, encapsulating the charm of the locale. Over a century later, Piotr and Maciej aim to honor the great painter in a unique way. Through a project to create 25 murals inspired by Monet's original works, they translate Monet's canvases onto the walls of Zaandam. Each mural serves not only as a recreation but also as a tribute to the local community, endeavoring to invigorate public spaces through art.
