The Day I Almost DIED

On August 17th, 2020, my whole world changed in less than 4 seconds. I was a new nurse at the very start of my career. My entire life, I've wanted nothing more than to be a nurse. It was my passion, and once I started, I knew I was EXACTLY where I was supposed to be. I was 2 weeks shy of my 1-year anniversary of being a nurse. So close. I was on my way home from that same job when a reckless driver changed my world. I t-boned a truck that tried to beat oncoming traffic. Unfortunately, his calculations were wildly off, leaving me fighting for my life in the most torturous of ways. I have fought incredibly hard to get to where I am today. This year will mark 4 years since the accident, and there have been many times in my journey where I didn't know if I'd be able to continue on. So, to be here to share my story now, from a new lens, is both a privilege and an honor. Below please find the links to my other socials and most importantly my blog.
