Let's PARTAAAYYY!!!! This cover is my entry for the RichaadEB Cover Contest. You can find further details here: • RICHAADEB COVER CONTEST - WIN A GUITAR!!! Scott Pilgrim. What can I say. It's the best soundtrack ever. This song is weird. I covered it. Yay. :P So let's talk about my inspiration for this one. Earlier this month I went to a Protest the Hero concert. The lead guitarist, Luke Hoskin, is absolutely incredible at doing those insane tapping shreddy riffs. It amazed me that he could play all of this live. If you're familiar with his work, it's no surprise that Rich is a huge fan of Protest the Hero and Luke Hoskin. Well my cover clearly doesn't sound like Protest the Hero, however, my idea was that I would do all those cool tapping leads and still be able to transition smoothly into picked sections. I can proudly say I can play this song from front to back, just as if I was playing live. My other huge inspiration for this is MetalFortress: / metalfortress14 MetalFortress is ALWAYS changing up his sound and his style. One of my favourite styles of his is blending EDM with metal. I figured I'd do Dance and Punk! MetalFortress also includes glasses and smiling in these videos, so I gave it a shot myself. BD I'm extremely proud of this cover. I really hope you guys enjoy it. Leave me a comment, I'll reply. :) Guitar, Bass, Drums, Arrangement, Mixing, Mastering, and Video Editing by: Brin Surtie (Hells6bells) Composed by: Anamanaguchi Guitar: Godin SD Bass: Fender Squire Bronco Bass Interface: M-Audio Fast Track Audio Software: GarageBand Tones: Bias FX Video Camera: Canon Powershot S100
