Varanasi, India The most sacred city for Hindus, and the oldest living city in the world. 🙏🏻 Visiting the holiest city in Varanasi was an unforgettable experience. The ghats are the lifeblood of the city, offering a mesmerizing glimpse into India’s rich cultural and spiritual traditions. Watching the evening Aarti ceremony was amazing with vibrant rituals and chants. 🙏🏻 Visiting Kashi Vishwanath Temple- This temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to lord shiva. The temple is a Hindu pilgrimage site and is one of the twelve jyotirlinga shrines. The presiding deity is known by the names Vishwanath, meaning the Lord of the Universe 🙏🏻 To visit this temple was a blessing. Har Har Mahadev 🙏 This is one of the most revered Shiv Temple in the world. I had an incredible experience visiting kashi Vishwanath temple. The whole environment is so serene and electric that you need to be here to experience it! I visited another temple which is Bhairav Mandir - also known as Kashi ke Kotwal. He is also the God who gets rid of all problems. One of the oldest temples of Varanasi. Kal Bhairav is said to be the kotwal of all dieties. A visit to Kashi VishwaNath Temple is said to be incomplete without a visit to this temple. People in Varanasi pronounce this temple as Kashi ke Kotwal ka temple. They believed that Lord Kaal Bhairav will protect Kashi city till the end. A must visit temple in Kashi. Later I visited Sankat Mochan Hanuman temple. A must visit place for street food is Kashi Chat Bhandar, I had a fantabulous experience at Kashi Chat Bhandar! This place has a name for itself, and is the most known chaat place in the whole of Varanasi/Kashi. I had the best chaat ever eaten in my life at Kashi chaat bhandar! The famous foods here are Tamatar Chaat, kulfi falooda palak patta chaat, gol gappe (pani puri) which are simply delicious 😋 I ate many different street foods like- kachori sabzi which is absolutely incredible, It has the perfect blend of flavors and textures. A must visit place to eat Kachori sabzi @ Chachi Ki Dukaan. The kachoris are fried piping hot in front of you, accompanied by kaddu (pumpkin) ki sabzi along with hot hot jalebi.😋 Another must try street food is Baati chokha @ Popular Baati Chokha Restaurant! One of the best litti chokha I ever had! It has a smoky roasted flavor which is amazing! I also had churma ladoo! Yummy 😋
