'Reprieve', a stylish Rob Humphreys designed cruising yacht (cruiser) has been throughly and fastidiously maintained above & beyond normal standards, and in many aspects has been upgraded. For example: the original engine was replaced and upgraded in 2008 with a Yanmar 3JH 39HP diesel. This is driven through a Purbeck Marine 20 x 14 propellor. The engine hours are 795. She has been serviced regularly by Cutler Marine of Emsworth (last time in Dec. 2022).. Similarly standing rigging was replaced two years ago and running rigging is removed each winter before being laundered and stored awaiting the new season. ‘Reprieve’ is supported with a full dossier of all essential documentation and manuals. These have been viewed by the broker and were seen to be correct. The unique Swing Keel provides deep draft performance (deeper than most yachts), for powerful windward performance. The keel can be raised to just 2'4'' for shallow draft freedom, allowing you to sail in coastal areas and inland waters. As with all Southerlys, the yacht will also dry out and sit upright.
