Once a colliery, then a paintball site, these buildings have alot of history. Formally known as wardly colliery however, now takes the name 'the zone'. Situated closest to pelaw metro station. Hiding deep amongst the dense woodland lies these decaying buildings. Forgotten, vandalised, derelict. Sounds like a great place to explore? That's if we don't get caught. -------------------------- Where is it? About 5 minutes from pelaw metro station. Head towards the direction to heworth but, turn left. Down a mud Road and turn right before the big gate. you head towards the old train lines and carry on the path.
