On September 18, 2020, UAE Ambassador to the US Yousef Al Otaiba delivered New Year's greetings to the Jewish Council of the Emirates. Kicking off the first Shabbat service of the year, he celebrated the recent Abraham Accords Declaration in Washington DC. Signed by Israel, the UAE and Bahrain, this groundbreaking agreement ensures peaceful coexistence among the three Abrahamic religions and across the Middle East region. In celebration of this special moment in history, he discussed the UAE’s commitment to the Jewish Council of the Emirates and the region’s collective responsibility to advocate for acceptance, inclusion, respect and religious tolerance.
