[Filmed 12:28pm January 1, 2022] After leaving Cedar St, I moved down to here at Addison St where Amtrak 737 was the next train approaching. The Berkeley Amtrak Station is to the left of this crossing so the crossing had an activation and time out cancel for the first activation as the train pulled into the station and then reactivated when the train started moving forward. This is another UP crossing that has GS LEDs on the cantilevers overhead from when UP briefly used GS LEDs in the Bay Area in the late 1990s to early 2000s. This crossing owned by Union Pacific is an mixed install with the close signal being an SP 1970s signal build install with changes to its Bell, Lights, light Heads, Counterweight Arms, and Mechanism all not original to the signal. The far signal is an SP 1970s signal build install with changes to its Bell, Lights, Gate, Counterweight Arms, and Mechanism not being original to the signal both gate mast and Cantilever. This crossing also has two extra tracks through it that were formally sidings alongside each main. Antrak California Capitol Corridor 737 southbound passes through the Addison Street railroad crossing on the UP Martinez Subdivision main line in Berkeley, California. I got four more catches this day also.
