A PINK PROTEST ||Award winning short film on WOMEN SAFETY || BY FILM CREED This is a short film aimed at portraying the situation that women of India go through on a regular basis. It is indeed shameful that people see, hear and witness such situations nearly everyday, everywhere in the country and yet never tend to raise their voices against it. This story is inspired by a true incident we came across some time back. It was really brave of that child who took a bold stand for the lady without thinking about the consequences . This incident puts the question out in the open that, IF HE CAN, WHY NOT WE? So this is a small initiative by Film Creed to publicize this question to all the viewers and request them to start thinking about it. It's high time that we stand up now because desperate times call for desperate measures . A girl is in no sense weak, feeble or passive. However, our support makes her confident and stronger. Women's safety has to be our priority. Women's safety isn't just about adding some rules and laws in our constitution but about actually taking some strict actions against the criminals. People need to understand. Just by educating your daughter isn't saving her from the psychopaths around us. Education is just a key to move forward with a great vision but to do so, we need to be free of aversion and faintheartedness. And at last, we should have immense belief in our constitution and law that can safeguard its citizens. It's important for everyone, be it the government, the elites or the commoners - to join hands towards making India a safer place for women to work and live. Mentality of people cannot be changed within a blink of an eye, but what can be done to stop these heinous activities is to create fear inside the people who dare to object against the matter of women's safety and try to make women feel unsafe, unwanted or the 'weaker sex'.
