Tarikh Episode 769 Tarikh is a daily program in which we present you with incidents and stories of noteworthy persons and events of History in Hindi. In this edition of Tarikh, Nikhil talks about the discovery of phosphorus and invention of Safety Match. Phosphorus was discovered in 1669 by German alchemist Hennig Brandt, who isolated it from urine. This was the first element to be chemically discovered, and it was notable for its ability to glow in the dark, a property that led to its name derived from the Greek word for "light-bearer." The unique properties of phosphorus made it crucial in the development of modern matches. The early friction matches, invented by John Walker in 1827, utilised phosphorus in the match heads to create ignition when struck. However, these matches were highly volatile and unsafe. Improvements followed with the invention of the safety match by Swedish chemist Gustaf Erik Pasch in 1844, which used a safer, non-toxic red phosphorus on the striking surface. This innovation greatly improved safety by separating the ignition chemicals from the match head, leading to the reliable and safe matches we use today. खबरों को विस्तार से पढ़ने के लिए क्लिक करे यहां- https://www.thelallantop.com/ Instagram: / thelallantop Facebook: / thelallantop Twitter: / thelallantop Produced By: The Lallantop Edited By: Alok Sahu
